Walz Supports Workers

This October, Governor Walz stood alongside workers across industries to pledge his support for organized labor. This November, we’re standing alongside Governor Walz for re-election. He took a moment to pledge his support for a crucial issue to our members: expanding unemployment insurance for hourly school workers. As a former teacher, Walz knows how important it is to have a stable paycheck through the summer months so workers can pay their bills. He also knows schools need this to maintain a workforce and avoid staff shortages.
